How it works

From a photo to a build you can hold.

  1. Choose a photo

Take one with the camera or pick one from your phone. Three sample photos are built in for when you have none handy.

Android's photo picker with the three sample photos: the house, a kitten and a beagle
  2. Watch it build

Pick a style, the size and the detail, and the picture builds itself row by row, in 3D. Touch and hold to see the original. Every dot is a round tile on a stud of a black baseplate.

  3. Put it on a stand

A base stand, a base with a black frame, a wall hanging or an easel. The app says how many pieces it takes, how big it is and about how long it takes to build.

Your build: the house leaning on its easel, 7,033 pieces, about 15 and a half hours to build
  4. Build it for real

A parts list with BrickLink part and colour numbers, step-by-step building instructions as a PDF, and a BrickLink wanted list or a CSV to order the parts.

Parts list: 7,203 pieces in 24 colours, plus 9 baseplates; Add a stand, with Base stand, Base and black frame and Wall hanging; the first tiles, round 1 by 1 in greens, with their BrickLink numbers and counts; the Building instructions (PDF), BrickLink list and CSV buttons
