Brickography press kit

Facts, descriptions and images for writing about the app.

In one line

Turn any photo into a picture you can build from real bricks, with a parts list and step-by-step instructions.

In a paragraph

Brickography rebuilds a photo from building bricks, entirely on the phone. Take a photo, pick one or try a built-in sample, and the app turns it into a picture you could really build, in nine styles: a mosaic of round tiles, cartoon, retro pixel art, jumbo bricks, pop art, stained glass, night, portrait and minifigs. A 3D view shows the model on a stand (a base, a base with a frame, an easel or a wall hanging), and a brick-by-brick build video can be shared. For building it for real, the app lists every piece and colour with its BrickLink part and colour numbers, writes a BrickLink wanted list and a spreadsheet, and makes step-by-step PDF instructions. It has no ads, no account and no internet access: photos never leave the phone.
