Brickography Privacy Policy
Effective date:
Brickography ("the app") turns photos into pictures built from toy bricks. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: the app does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data.
Photos and the camera
The app asks for camera access so you can take a photo to convert. You can also pick a photo from your gallery or share one to the app. Photos are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded, sent or shared by the app. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere.
The app keeps the photo in memory only while you work with it. Pictures you choose to Save are written to your device's gallery (Pictures/Brickography). Files you choose to Share (pictures, building instructions, parts lists) are handed to the app you pick in Android's share sheet; what happens to them then is governed by that app.
Data the app collects
None. The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cookies or tracking of any kind. It stores only your display preferences (style, 3D view and stand, picture size, frame) on your device; uninstalling the app removes them.
Permissions
- Camera - to take the photo you want to convert. Optional: you can pick a photo from your gallery instead.
- Storage (Android 9 and older only) - to save pictures to your gallery.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights, and who is responsible
The app sends us nothing, so the only information we can hold about you is what you choose to email us. Those emails are kept in our support mailbox, which Google hosts (Gmail); its servers may be outside Québec and Canada. Only the studio's owner reads them, and we never sell or share them.
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Data Driven Decisions is the studio's owner: write to support.datadrivendecisions@gmail.com with "Privacy" in the subject. You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or get a copy of it; we answer within 30 days, free of charge. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or, elsewhere in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). How long we keep emails, and what applies to all our apps: Privacy at Data Driven Decisions.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
